Patrimoine mondial, cultural landscapes

Sharing heritage...

Despite the many wars and fluctuations of frontiers, the Greater Region between the Sarre, Moselle, Rhine and Meuse rivers is a unique cultural landscape with more than a dozen world heritage sites, from prehistoric to modern times, among them cathedrals and belfries, fortified towns, industrial sites, cultural landscapes, architectural ensembles ... Today we can discover the lasting effects of changing borders during the centuries stimulating competition, craftsmanship and collaboration, art and creativity.
